I qualified as a veterinarian in 2010. Even before graduating I began collaborating with Merja Dahlbom at the Mäntsälä Veterinary Clinic. I have always been very interested in reproduction science, and in 2013 I was able to start my specialisation at the University of Helsinki. My supervisors have been Prof. Olli Peltoniemi, Merja Dahlbom and Tuire Tamminen, who have all helped me with my specialisation. I defended my doctoral thesis in veterinary medicine in 2025. I am also in the final stages of the diploma examination in reproduction science (ECAR).
Almost immediately after graduating I also began working at the Guide Dog School as the responsible veterinarian. About 8 years passed at the Guide Dog School clinic and semen bank until I decided to realise my dream of my own clinic. In 2017 I founded the Reprovet clinic.
I am a member of EVSSAR (European Veterinary Society For Small Animal Reproduction).
My family includes my husband Anders, my children Casper, Alex and Ellen, and two dogs.
